Steel min to meet industry players Thursday to discuss imports

NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Steel Friday said it would conduct an open house Thursday to discuss issues related to steel imports with companies and associations. The open house will be conducted from 1100 IST to 1700 IST and specific time slots will be indicated via e-mail, according to a press release.
The ministry has asked the companies and associations to send details related to type of industry and product, and the issues related to the simplified steel import monitoring system and the quality control order exemption, along with the designation of the participant. End
