NCDEX extends waiver for new member admission, processing fees to Aug 31

MUMBAI – The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange has announced extension of its offer to waive processing and admission fees for new membership applications to Aug. 31. On Dec. 24, NCDEX had announced this scheme, which was to end on Tuesday.
In the Dec. 24 announcement, it had said the offer was valid to both new membership applications and those under processing.
"In our endeavour to enhance our member base and facilitate new applicants of the securities market to operate with an optimised cost structure, the exchange is pleased to announce the waiver of processing fee and admission fee for new membership," the exchange had said in a notification.
"The waiver will apply to both new applications and those currently under processing, with effect from the date of issuance of this circular," it said.
The waiver will be implemented across all segments of NCDEX, it stated. However, the process for registration of new membership will remain unchanged, it had clarified. End
