National cooperative body offers to sell various pulses via auctions Tue

MUMBAI – The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India has invited bids to sell 87,499 tonnes of moong, 5,837 tonnes of chana, 2,973 tonnes of tur, and 10,109 tonnes of urad via separate e-auctions on Tuesday. The e-auctions will be conducted through the portal of AgriBazaar. The notifications were circulated by the India Pulses and Grains Association, a pulses trade body.
The body will conduct two different auctions for the moong stock — one for 67,957 tonnes stored in various warehouses across Madhya Pradesh, and another for 19,543 tonnes kept in several warehouses in Rajasthan, according to the notifications. The moong stock in Madhya Pradesh is from the summer crop season 2025, while the moong stock in Rajasthan is from the kharif 2025 season.
The chana stock is from the rabi 2024 season, while the tur stock is from the kharif 2024 season, and the urad stock is from the kharif 2025 season. The chana stock is lying in multiple warehouses in Madhya Pradesh, the tur stock in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, and the urad stock across districts in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, according to the notifications.
The e-auctions will be conducted between 1100 IST and 1130 IST, with three extensions of 5 minutes each between 1130 IST and 1145 IST. The matching rounds will run from 1500 IST to 1530 IST, according to the notifications. End
