MUSTARD seed prices in Jaipur fell by INR 100 per 100 kilograms to INR 7,950-INR 7,975 as demand was poor at higher prices, traders at the Marudhar Trading Agency said. Arrivals across the country were at 500,000 bags (1 bag = 50 kg), down from 525,000 bags the previous day.
In Kota, mustard seed prices were steady at INR 6,350 per 100 kg, after falling significantly by INR 1,450 on Friday, Mahesh Sameriya, a local trader, said. Mustard seed arrivals in Kota were at 28,000 bags, the same as the previous day, he said.
