MCX arm changes aluminium complex, steel rebar additional delivery centres

NEW DELHI – Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corp. Ltd. has modified specifications for aluminium complex and steel rebar contracts by removing some additional delivery centres, it said in a circular.
For aluminium complex contracts, Thane in Maharashtra will remain the only additional delivery centre from contracts expiring in August onwards, as Kolkata in West Bengal has been removed as an additional delivery centre. "The existing stock of Aluminium and Aluminium Mini stored at MCXCCL accredited warehouses located at Kolkata delivery center shall be eligible for delivery up to July 2026 expiry contract," the clearing arm said in a circular.
For steel rebar contracts, Thane will remain as the sole additional delivery centre from contracts expiring in June onwards. The exchange has removed Palwal in Haryana, Chennai in Tamil Nadu, and Kolkata in West Bengal as additional delivery centres for steel rebar contracts. End
