NEW DELHI – The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd. will conduct a mock trading session on Saturday for testing the recently launched Mumbai rainfall futures contracts. The RAINMUMBAI futures contract, launched on Wednesday, is scheduled to go live on May. 29. The contract would run for four monsoon months--June, July, August, and September.
"Members are requested to participate actively in the mock trading session from all trading software and re-login into the live environment to check the connectivity and to avoid any login issues on Monday, 25 May 2026," NCDEX said in a circular. It has also asked stock brokers to ensure adequate mechanisms are in place to restore their systems to 'production state' at the end of the testing session.
The exchange has provided website links for trading members to test the contract. It also clarified that trading results on Saturday will not attract any pay-in or pay-out. End
