MUMBAI – Mustard seed prices were steady in key markets as demand was limited, traders said. Soybean prices rose in Kota and were steady in Ratlam, they said. Groundnut prices were steady in key markets, they added.

MUSTARD seed prices were steady in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at INR 7,175-INR 7,200 per 100 kilograms, traders at the Marudhar Trading Agency said. Arrivals across the country were steady at 950,000 bags (1 bag = 50 kg), they said. Prices were steady because demand was limited at high rates, traders said.

In Kota, also in Rajasthan, mustard seed prices were steady at INR 6,900 per 100 kg after increasing the previous day because of good demand for seeds with higher oil content, said Mahesh Sameriya, a local trader.
