MCX adds 3 UAE-based gold refiners to empanelled list for mini gold contract

MUMBAI – The Multi Commodity Exchange of India has added three United Arab Emirates-based gold refiners – Al Etihad Gold FZCO, Emirates Gold DMCC, and Sam Precious Metals FZ LLC – to its Good Delivery List for Gold Mini (100 grams) futures contracts, it said in a release Monday.
Hence, MCX shall accept gold bars produced by these UAE Good Delivery standard refiners, as per the specifications of the Gold Mini futures contracts traded on MCX, in addition to the existing empanelled refiners.
Effective Apr.15, the above is applicable to Gold Mini futures contracts with May and onwards expiry, according to the release. End
