National co-op agency offers to sell tur, chana, urad via auctions Thu

MUMBAI – The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India has offered to sell 2,979 tonnes of tur, 675 tonnes of chana, and 405 tonnes of urad through separate e-auctions on Thursday. The auctions will be conducted through the AgriBazaar portal. The auction notifications were circulated by the India Pulses and Grains Association, a pulses trade body.
The chana is from the rabi 2023 and 2024 seasons, and is lying in various warehouses across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The tur stock is from the kharif 2023 and 2024 seasons, while the urad stock is from the kharif 2025 season. Both legumes are stored in warehouses across Madhya Pradesh.
The auctions will be conducted between 1100 IST and 1130 IST, with three extensions of 5 minutes each between 1130 IST and 1145 IST. The matching rounds will take place between 1500 IST and 1530 IST, the notification said. End
