National co-op agency offers to sell masur, moong, tur via auctions Tue

MUMBAI – The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India has offered to sell 221,155 tonnes of moong, 404 tonnes of domestic masur, 379 tonnes of imported masur, and 991 tonnes of tur through separate e-auctions on Tuesday. The auctions will be conducted through the AgriBazaar portal. The auction notification was circulated by the India Pulses and Grains Association, a pulses trade body.
The domestic masur stocks are from the rabi 2025 season, while the imported masur stocks are of Australian and Canadian origin from the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the notification said. The moong stock is from kharif 2024 and summer 2024 and 2025 seasons, while the tur stock is from the kharif 2024 season. The domestic masur and tur stocks are lying in different warehouses across Madhya Pradesh, while the imported masur stock is stored at multiple locations across West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. The moong stocks are lying in several warehouses across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.
The auctions will be conducted between 1100 IST and 1130 IST, with three extensions of 5 minutes each between 1130 IST and 1145 IST. The matching rounds will take place between 1500 IST and 1530 IST, the notification said. End
