National co-op body offers to sell chana, masur, moong, tur via auction Thu

MUMBAI – The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India has offered to sell 962 tonnes of chana, 2,822 tonnes of masur, 181,864 tonnes of moong, and 1,645 tonnes of tur through separate e-auctions on Thursday. The auctions will be conducted through the portal of AgriBazaar. The notification was circulated by the India Pulses and Grains Association, a pulses trade body. 

 

The chana stock is from the rabi 2025 season, and the masur stock is from the rabi 2024 and 2025 seasons, the notification said. The moong stock is from kharif 2025 and summer 2024 and 2025 seasons, and the tur stock is from kharif 2023 and 2024 seasons. All pulses are currently lying across multiple warehouses in Madhya Pradesh, the notification said. The auctions will be conducted between 1100 IST and 1130 IST, with three extensions of 5 minutes each between 1130 IST and 1145 IST. The matching rounds will be between 1500 IST and 1530 IST, the notification said.  End
