MCX iCOMDEX Composite falls 0.6%; silver, gas, crude, zinc, gold indices dn

MUMBAI – The MCX iCOMDEX Composite index fell 0.6% to 24765.50 soon after opening unchanged at 24912.34 on Thursday. At 0930 IST, all indices within the composite index were in the red.
Within the composite index, the silver index was down 1.40%, while natural gas index was down 1.02%. Crude oil index declined 0.40%, zinc index declined 0.37%, and gold index declined 0.29%.
MCX iCOMDEX comprises a series of real-time commodity futures price indices and tracks the performance of a basket of commodity futures. It serves as a benchmark for market movements in bullion, base metals, and energy. End
