Gujarat government to procure chana, mustard at MSP from Friday

MUMBAI – The government of Gujarat has decided to procure chana and mustard in the state at minimum support prices in 2026-27. It will procure these rabi crops under Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan scheme and under price support scheme, according to a government release.

 

The government has asked farmers to register themselves for this purpose from Friday to Mar. 5.

 

The central government has fixed the minimum support price for chana for 2026-27 at INR 5,875 per 100 kg and that for mustard at INR 6,200 per 100 kg, according to the release.  End
