NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus widened to $22.68 billion in December from $17.38 billion in November, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Friday. Services exports rose 13.0% on year to $41.78 billion in December and imports increased 7.3% to $19.10 billion. 

 

Services exports and imports were at $34.26 billion and $16.88 billion, respectively, in November. The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. This data may be revised when the balance-of-payments data are released quarterly.  End
