MUMBAI – The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd. has modified the contract specifications for futures trading in unprocessed whole raw yellow peas--not meant for direct human consumption--by dropping Gandhidham, Gujarat, as an additional delivery centre.
The modification was necessary in view of the limited activity at the centre, the NCDEX said in a notification Wednesday. The modification comes into effect from Jan. 28 and is applicable on futures contracts expiring in February and thereafter, it said. End
