MCXCCL alters additional delivery centres list for some metals' futures

MUMBAI – The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corp. has modified the list of additional delivery centres in the futures contracts for various metals, it said in a notification dated Wednesday. Effective November and onward expiry aluminium, aluminium mini, zinc and zinc mini contracts, MCXCCL has removed the existing additional delivery centres at National Capital Region and Chennai in Tamil Nadu from the approved list, it said.

 

In the case of nickel futures contracts with September and onward expiry, MCXCCL has dropped all three additional delivery centres at NCR, Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Kolkata in West Bengal, the notification said.

 

Similarly, for copper futures contracts with December and onward expiry, the exchange has removed all three additional delivery centres at NCR, Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Kolkata in West Bengal, the notification said.

 

The existing stocks of these metals at the warehouses in the stated centres will be eligible for delivery only until the relevant period, after which the beneficiary holders of stocks are required to withdraw their stocks from these cenres, the notification said.  End
