HAFED invites bids to sell 2,931.78 tonnes mustard seeds on Wednesday

MUMBAI – The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. has invited bids to sell 2,931.78 tonnes of mustard seeds lying at its Charkhi Dadri godowns in Fatehabad district of Haryana. The electronic auction will be held on Wednesday between 1200 IST and 1245 IST, with an extension time of 15 minutes at intervals of five minutes. The matching round will be conducted for 60 minutes from 1600 IST to 1700 IST, it said in a notification.

 

The seeds put for auction were procured at the minimum support price in the rabi marketing season of 2023, HAFED said. The auction will be held on the platforms of NCDEX e-Markets Ltd., Star Agribazaar Technology Ltd., ekrishimandi, Mjunction, and HAFED portal, it said.

 

Bidders will have to deposit INR 300 per 100 kilogram as an earnest money in the bank account provided by the federation. HAFED reserves the right to reduce the auction quantity or allocate the sale quantity among different successful buyers, it said.  End
