HAFED invites bids to sell 27,608.75 tonnes sunflower seeds on Monday

MUMBAI – The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. has invited bids to sell 27,608.75 tonnes of sunflower seed purchased by the federation during rabi marketing season of 2025. The electronic auction will be held on Monday between 1200 IST and 1245 IST, with an extension of 15 minutes. The matching round will be conducted from 1600 IST to 1700 IST, the federation said in a notification.
The sunflower seeds to be disposed of by the fedration are stored in gowdowns at Ambala, Kurukshetra, and Panchkula.
The auction will be conducted through the federation's e-auction platform HafedAgriXchange.Org. It will also be held on the portals of Star Agribazaar Technology Pvt. Ltd., National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange e-Markets Ltd., E-Tech Innovative Services Pvt. Ltd., and mjunction Services Ltd.
Bidders will have to deposit INR 300 per 100 kg as an earnest margin deposit, according to the notification. HAFED reserves the right to reduce the auction quantity or allocate the sale quantity among different successful buyers, it said. Price is to be quoted in delivered weight and quality basis on 'As is where is' basis. The evaluation and finaliaation of bids received shall be made on the basis of the highest price quoted by the bidders, according to the federation. End
