HAFED invites bids to sell 80,013 tn mustard seeds on Friday

MUMBAI – The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. has invited bids for the sale of 80,013 tonnes of mustard seeds lying at its various godowns in the state. The electronic auction will be held on Friday between 1200 IST and 1245 IST, with an extension time of 15 minutes at intervals of five minutes. The matching round will be conducted for 60 minutes from 1600 IST to 1700 IST, it said in a notification.
The seeds put for auction were procured at the minimum support price in the rabi marketing season of 2023 and 2024, HAFED said. The auction will be held on the platforms of NeML, Star Agribazaar Technology Ltd., ekrishimandi, Mjunction and HAFED portal, it said.
Bidders will have to deposit INR 300 per 100 kg as earnest money deposit in the bank account provided by the federation. HAFED reserves the right to reduce the auction quantity or allocate the sale quantity among different successful buyers, it said. End
