MCX modifies additional delivery centres for copper, aluminium, zinc

MUMBAI – The Multi Commodity Exchange of India has made changes to the additional delivery centres for futures contracts of copper, aluminium, aluminium mini, zinc, and zinc mini, the exchange said Wednesday. It has dropped the additional delivery centres of National Capital Region, Chennai, and Kolkata for the copper futures contract. The change will be applicable for contracts expiring in December and thereafter, with effect from Aug. 11, it said.
The exchange has dropped Thane and Kolkata as delivery centres for aluminium and aluminium mini contracts, retaining the National Capital Region and Chennai as the two additional delivery centres. For zinc and zinc mini contracts, it has dropped Kolkata. The change will be applicable for contracts expiring in November and thereafter, with effect from Aug. 11. End
