NAFED invites financial bids for export of 5 tn of cowpea to Fiji

MUMBAI – The international division of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India has invited financial bids for export of 5 tonnes of black-eyed cowpea or chawli seeds to Fiji. NAFED will accept the bids through email till 1200 IST Monday, which will be opened at 1230 IST the same day.

 

Bidders have to deposit INR 200,000 as interest-free earnest money before participating in the financial bids, NAFED said in a press release. The bids will remain valid till Jul. 22.

 

Delivery of the entire consignment by air is to be done strictly within 20 days from the date of issuance of purchase order, NAFED said, adding that the exports will be on carriage and insurance paid to basis.

 

"Payment of 90% of CIP (carriage and insurance paid to) value shall be release after successful delivery of consignment at the designated warehouse, Fiji and submission of bills and vouchers, proof of delivery viz. confirmation receipt, Goods Receipt Note etc. complying with specifications, acceptable quality and Phyto-sanitary requirements," it said.  End
