HAFED invites bids from interested buyers for 3,897 tonnes basmati rice

MUMBAI - The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. has invited bids from interested buyers for a total of 3,897 tonnes of various varieties of basmati rice.
The electronic auction, to be held on May 22, will be conducted on the platforms of NeML, Star Agribazaar Technology Ltd. (Agribazaar), E- Tech Innovative Services Pvt. Ltd., mjunction Services Ltd., and HAFED portal, it said in a notification.
The varieties covered under the auction would be 163 tonnes of 1121 Golden Sella Rice, 3,500 tonnes of 1718 White Sella Rice, 152 tonnes of PB-01 Sella Rice, and 81 tonnes of 1401 Basmati Sella Rice, it said. The rice to be auction is stored at different godowns across the state.
The auction will take place from 1200 IST to 1300 IST. Bidding will be open from 1200 IST to 1245 IST, followed by a 15-minute extension period from 1245 IST to 1300 IST, with three 5-minute intervals. End
