National co-op body invites bids for sale of domestic, imported masur on Thu

MUMBAI – The National Cooperative Consumer's Federation of India Ltd. has invited bids to sell 35,695 tonnes of masur procured in the 2023 rabi marketing season. The electronic auction of domestic masur will be held between 1100 IST and 1130 IST on Thursday, with three extensions of five minutes each. The crops are stored at various warehouses across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The federation has also invited bids for the sale of 132,579 tonnes of masur imported from Australia and Canada from the 2023 crop year. The crop is stored across port cities such as Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bardhaman. The electronic auction will be held between 1200 IST and 1230 IST on Thursday, with three extensions of five minutes each.
