MUMBAI – The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. has invited bids to sell 31,727.63 tonnes of sunflower seed procured during the rabi marketing season 2024, it said in a notice. The e-auction will be held at the platforms of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange e Markets Ltd., Star Agribazaar Technology Ltd., E-Tech Innovative Service Private Ltd., mjunction services Ltd. and HAFED portal on Friday, it said. The e-auction will start at 1200 IST and end at 1245 IST, with an extension of 15 minutes.

The sunflower seed is stored in various warehouses of the federation in Ambala, Kaithal, Karnal and Kurukshetra districts of Haryana. The goods are offered on "as is where is basis" at the locations as mentioned. Bidders have to bid for a minimum lot of 2,500 tonnes sunflower seed and maximum up to total quantity put up for auction, according to the federation. The evaluation and finalisation of bids received shall be made on the basis of the highest price quoted by the bidders, it said. 

Bidders will have to deposit an amount of INR 300 per quintal as earnest money deposit in the bank account provided by the federation. HAFED reserves the right to reduce the auction quantity or allocate the sale quantity among different successful buyers, it said.  End
