MUSTARD prices in Jaipur, Rajasthan, were up by INR 50 to INR 6,700-6,725 per 100 kilograms from Wednesday. Arrivals in Rajasthan increased by 15,000 bags to 165,000 bags. Arrivals all over the country remained unchanged at 300,000 bags (1 bag = 50 kg), according to Marudhar Trading Agency.

However, in Kota, Rajasthan, mustard prices were down by INR 50-6,500 per 100 kilograms with arrivals decreasing by 500 bags to 6,000 bags (1 bag = 50 kg), Sameriya added.
SOYBEAN prices in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, were steady at INR 4,150-4,550 per 100 kilograms, Mukesh Mangal, a local trader said. "Procurement of the crop starting from 25th October, which may support the legume prices in the long-run," Shailendra Soni, another trader from Indore said. A huge number of stocks, both old and new are putting pressure on soybean prices.
However, soybean prices in Kota, Rajasthan, were up by INR 100 to INR 4,600 per 100 kilograms with arrivals increasing by 5,000 bags to 60,000 bags (1 bag = 90 kilograms), Sameriya said.
GROUNDNUT prices were steady in Gondal, Gujarat, in the range of INR 5,500-8,000 per 100 kilograms, Ashok Virvani, a Gujarat-based trader said. "Currently, it is the peak arrival season of groundnut, so prices will be under pressure of moisture-laden new groundnut crops," Jatin Patel, another trader from the Saurashtra Mandi in Gujarat said.
