NCDEX drops Jalgaon as additional cotton delivery centre from Oct 28

MUMBAI – The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange has dropped Jalgaon in Maharashtra as an additional delivery centre for its cotton futures contracts, the exchange said in a release. The change in specification will be applicable to contracts expiring in November and thereafter, with effect from Oct. 28, it said. 

 

Kadi in Gujarat and Akola in Maharashtra will continue as additional delivery centres, while Rajkot in Gujarat will continue to be the main delivery centre. 

 

Currently, cotton futures contracts expiring in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, and April are available for trading and will continue to be traded as per the existing contract specification till Oct. 25, the exchange said in the release.  End
