Prices unavailable as markets shut for Raksha Bandhan

MUMBAI – Prices of chana, tur, and moong were unavailable as major markets in India were closed for Raksha Bandhan, traders said. There was no trade in Delhi market, they added.
CHANA prices were unavailable as mandis in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, were closed, said local trader Kailash Kakani. Similarly, wholesale market of Kalaburagi in Karnataka, considered a benchmark for TUR, was closed and hence prices were unavailable. Prices of MOONG were unavailable as the key wholesale markets of Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh and Pipariya in Madhya Pradesh were closed. Markets in Kota, Solapur, Vidisha, and Akola were also closed.
