MUMBAI – The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd has, under its price support scheme, fixed prices ranging from 5,603 rupees to 7,801 rupees per 100 kg of various pulses at an auction held on Friday, the India Pulses and Grains Association said. 

 

In Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Mundra and Madhya Pradesh, the bid for various pulses took place on Aug 16 and was approved on Aug 17. In Karnataka, 210.7 tn of chana (rabi season 2023) was sold in the price range of 7,552-7,576 rupees per 100 kg. Similarly in Maharashtra, 220.3 tn of chana (rabi season 2023) was sold at 7,352-7,576 rupees per 100 kg. In Madhya Pradesh, 415.8 tn of chana (rabi season 2024-25) was sold in the range of 7,511-7,526 rupees per 100 kg.

 

In Rajasthan, 520 tn of moong (kharif season 2022) was sold at 7,356 rupees per 100 kg. Similarly, 457.7 tn for moong (summer season 2023) was sold at 7,801 rupees per 100 kg. In Hyderabad and Mundra, imported masoor 2021 was sold at 5,700 rupees and 5,603 rupees per 100 kg, respectively, the association said.  End
