--Kotak Bank net advances INR 4.447 tln as on Jun 30, up 14% on year
--Kotak Bank total deposits INR 5.128 tln as on Jun 30, up 14.6% on year
NEW DELHI – Kotak Mahindra Bank's net advances rose 14% on year to INR 4.447 trillion as of Jun. 30, the bank informed exchanges Monday. Sequentially, net advances were up more than 4% from INR 4.270 trillion at the end of March.
Total deposits of the bank were up nearly 15% on year and nearly 3% on quarter at INR 5.128 trillion as of Jun. 30, the lender said. Current account savings account deposits rose almost 8% on year to INR 2.096 trillion but were down 2.2% on quarter.
The bank had reported a net profit of INR 35.52 billion for the March quarter, down over 14% on year. Monday, shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank ended at INR 2,149.80 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.9% from Friday's close. End
