The fee for pension managers under the National Pension System is currently low and an increase will make the sector viable in the long term, says Rahul Bhagat, chief executive officer of DSP Pension Fund Managers, the latest entrant in the national retirement plan. "A moderate adjustment in the fee structure can be beneficial for sustaining the long-term viability and competitiveness of the pension fund industry," he says.
