Cabinet approves 350 bln rupees for farmer income protection scheme

The Union Cabinet today approved a total of 350 bln rupees for the continuation of Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay SanraksHan Abhiyan to provide remunerative prices to farmers and to control price volatility of essential commodities for consumers. The total outgo for this scheme is up to 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), it said in an official release.
